A new generation

Written by Starmans at 15:18 21/11-2015

A few days ago Sibbe Pierewaaijer took home our biggest result so far: victory in Classic Oslo. That's reason for celebration, but it also made clear the team leadership of Jef Pragt and Jan Hilberts is almost coming to an end.

Jan will keep on riding as a captain for another season or maybe two, before he'll become a support rider in our mountain train. Jef's role as tour captain has already been taken over by Joey Gerfen. Jef will leave the team in a few days, hoping to find a new challenge for the last seasons of his career. "I'd love to ride the lower division climbing classics, I feel like I can do well in those races", he says.

Jef's place on the team sheet will be filled up by top climbing talent Peter Langeveld. Within a few weeks he should be able to provide nice support for Sibbe, let's see how far he develops.
